Delicious side dishes to compliment a meal are just as important as the entree in my opinion. A side dish should have a good dose of vegetable goodness, healthy fats and act to balance out the flavours of the main dish like chicken, pork or beef.
With our busy lives I have created lots of great choices that are easy to prep for the week ahead. Many of the recipes making several servings to carry you through the week.
Some of my favourite side dishes include Pan Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Bacon & Leeks, Roasted Kale & Napa Salad and Parsnip Puree.
