Za'atar Spice Blend

Za'atar Spice Blend- a crazy simple spice mix to make, but it's the perfect seasoning blend for grilled or roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ground sumac
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp dried marjoram
  • 2 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 ½ tsp sea salt; fine or coarse

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small dish or jar and mix well.

Notes

Store in a cool dry place away from light for up to 6 months.
Use as a dry rub or marinade when combined with olive oil and or lemon juice to season beef, poultry or pork. Or use it to spice up dips and salad dressing.
