A turkey chili recipe that is as easy to make as it is delicious. A meal full of lean meat and veggies the whole family will love and done in one-pot and under an hour.
1 ½cupsdiced zucchiniabout 2 large or 3 small zucchinis
1large onion finely chopped
1 ½tbspchili powder
2tspsalt
1tbspcrushed chili flakes
3clovesminced garlic
1 ½tbspcumin
1tspsugar
28oz crushed tomatoesor 1 large can
2cups White kidney or tri-blend canned beansdrained and rinsed well
Instructions
Heat large pot or stockpot to medium-high heat. Add ground turkey and onions and cook until turkey is browned. Use a wooden spoonbreak meat into small pieces.
Add garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, sugar and chili flakes and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Mixing occasionally.
Stir in diced zucchini and cook for about 5 minutes or until softened slightly. About 5 minutes
Add crushed tomatoes and beans and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve.
