Instructions
Cut the apples in half top to bottom. Then slice each half into 3 wedges slicing off any core from the pointed end, Cut a wedge into each apple slice to form a mouth.
Remove the green stems from the strawberries and cut each strawberry from top to bottom in to 1/4" slices.
To prevent the apples from browning add 1 tsp of salt to 2 cups of cold water and mix. Add the apples and let them soak for 10 minutes. Drain the water and rinse and thoroughly dry the apples.
Using a flat knife spread the peanut butter into each "mouth part" of the apple. Add a slice of strawberry to the bottom of the wedge to make a tongue.
Carefully insert the pointed end of several sunflower seeds into inside of the monster mouth to form teeth.
Using the tip of a sharp knife spread some peanut butter on the back of each candy eyeball. Stick two eyeballs to outside of the apple that would be the over the mouth using the peanut butter to help them stick.

Storage:Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.Substitutions:Peanut butter can be substituted for any nut-free butter or cream cheese.
