This Greek lemon aioli recipe is super easy to make in just a few minutes with limited ingredients. The creamy smooth base blends well with the tart and spice of the seasoning additions.
If using fresh squeeze lemon juice, go ahead and get that ready as well.
Add to a medium bowl, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tsp lemon zest and 1 grated clove of garlic.
Use a spoon or whisk to completely combine all the ingredients into one smooth mixture.
Serve as desired.
Notes
Storage: Keep it in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 7 days. Freezing is not recommended due to texture and consistency changes.Variations: use low fat or reduced fat Greek yogurt or mayonnaise. Or, make it spicy by adding a touch of cayenne pepper or paprika.
