Ingredients

can
crushed tomatoes
28 oz

olive oil

medium onion
finely chopped

cloves
garlic
minced
2
bay leaves

tbsp
dried oregano
1 ½
tsp
dried parsley
1 ½
tsp
dried basil
Instructions
Add olive oil, garlic and onions to a pan.
Sautee over medium heat until the onions are translucent.
Add the crushed tomatoes, oregano, parsley, bay leaves and basil. Stir.
Simmer all ingredients over low heat for 10 minutes. Stir frequently so the sauce does not burn.
Remove the bay leaf.
Serve hot over your favorite pasta.
Top with hot peppers. (Optional)
